Hey Everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! We spent most most the day with different members and it was so much fun! All the members here are so sweet! I loved having such a Christ Centered Christmas, seriously nothing else I'd rather do during the holidays than be out here serving!  And then guess what happened Christmas night?? We found a mouse!! We had to go and get some traps from the Elders, but we haven't seen it since! I'm praying it just decided to bother some other people!  Best part of this week was Marcus's Baptism! We were a little stressed when we last minute had to move it up a day, but everything worked out and there was so much support!   Hey yall! I hope you've all had an amazing week! Mine has been... interesting? We met a guy at the library who started talking to us, but we could only understand about 5% of what he was saying! But from that 5% we're pretty sure he was teaching us how to be spys! (either that or the spys are after us... honestly not sure!)  Other than that our week has been great! Our friend Marcus is being baptized tomorrow, and he's so excited! Seriously has been so cool to get to know him and learn from his testimony!  I love you all and hope you have a merry Christmas!   Hey What is up everybody! This week has been absolutely crazy! We've made lots of new friends out here, who are all really excited to learn more! We usually do phone lessons when we first start meeting with people, but it's crazy how much love I feel for the people here! Even if its just over the phone! I had my first knocking experience this week! ( yes it was freezing, yes we didn't get to many houses because of that!) One guy answered! It could have been because he had a huge glass door and couldn't hide from us but... he still answered!! He wasn't interested at all but it was a cool experience to be able to talk to him!   I also got to go to Africa night this week... that was an experience... we sang songs that Brother Kingsley wrote and was very proud of himself, We had two people low key bashing, and one of the new converts offered to be one of the Elder's "sugar momma" when he gets home from his mission so... things are really crazy out here i...

  Hey everybody! This week has been so amazing, and crazy, and just all of the above!  My last week at the MTC was CRAZY! Sister Spannaus came for our Tuesday night devotional and I learned so much from her! She talked a lot about how are job as missionaries is to help people focus the light in their lives. I thought this a cool way to see it! Because everyone has been given the light of Christ, So we help people to focus and recognize it. We had the departure devotional on Wednesday and guess what guys?? I GOT TO PLAY THE MUSICAL NUMBER!! I was so excited and grateful for the chance to share my testimony through music. The piano has been such a big part of my life for so long, and has helped me grow my testimony so the chance to share that with others at the MTC was beyond amazing!  I flew out to Minnesota on Friday morning, (little bit of advice... avoid waking up at 3:30, just trust me on this one!)   Hey everyone! I don't have a ton of time to write today (blame Emma, she is way to easy to talk to!) But I've had an amazing week here at the MTC!  Highlight from my week, Elder Uchdorf came for the devotional!!! I was in complete shock!! He talked a lot about hope and faith, and my favorite quote was when he said " a hopeful person is a person who has learned to get strength from the lord"  I have to go but I promise to write more next week!  Hey everyone!  Week one of the MTC, well kind of! I've really only been here three days, but I already love it so much! There is such a special spirit here, you just cant help but smile as you walk around the campus!  This week I've been thinking a lot about the invitation Christ gives to his apostles in John 1 to "come and see". I love this line and have felt Christ extending the same invitation to me this week. I'm so excited to come closer to Christ throughout these next 18 months and to see the miracles he has in store for me and the people I'm serving.  Thats all for this week! I know its not a ton, but like I said,  it's only been three days! I love you all and cant wait to talk to you again next week!
