Guys did you know Minnesota's cold?? NOV 27, 2023

 Hey What is up everybody! This week has been absolutely crazy! We've made lots of new friends out here, who are all really excited to learn more! We usually do phone lessons when we first start meeting with people, but it's crazy how much love I feel for the people here! Even if its just over the phone!


I had my first knocking experience this week! ( yes it was freezing, yes we didn't get to many houses because of that!) One guy answered! It could have been because he had a huge glass door and couldn't hide from us but... he still answered!! He wasn't interested at all but it was a cool experience to be able to talk to him!
 
I also got to go to Africa night this week... that was an experience... we sang songs that Brother Kingsley wrote and was very proud of himself, We had two people low key bashing, and one of the new converts offered to be one of the Elder's "sugar momma" when he gets home from his mission so... things are really crazy out here in Minnesota! 

We have one friend who isn't really interested in taking the lessons, but loves missionaries and loves to pray! We call her every night and say a prayer with her and she's the sweetest person ever! She'll say amen all throughout the prayer, which took me a while to get used to but now it's my favorite thing! After the prayer she expresses her gratitude and love for us, and then will usually talk about her love for prayer. It's so powerful to hear her testimony every night!

Other friends with awesome testimonies are our friend who are getting baptized on Saturday! They're three siblings who's mom was baptized a while ago and knew her kids needed to learn the lessons! (Guys this lady is the best member missionary! She already has more people for us to teach!) Marie is 15 and the oldest of the 3! During her interview Elder Perry asked her to share her testimony, but she said she didn't really have one. But then she continued to share everything she knew about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! She was so excited when Elder Perry told her that was a testimony! She was seriously glowing she was so happy! Its been so amazing to get to know these amazing people!

Mall of America craziness! 3/18/24

  Hey Everybody! The last couple weeks have been absolutely crazy! We were able to go to Mall of America last week and had an interesting time... Two dumb blondes in the creeks comes to an end 2/19/24

  Hey Everyone! I know I start pretty much every email off like this, but once again this week was crazy!  We had a lesson with our friend Rohit that was 2 1/2 hours long... my brain was completely dead after! It was our last lesson with him since we finally got him to agree to meet with the missionaries who are actually in his area, and because it was our last we had some members who wanted the lesson to be at their house! Although the lesson went way over, we saw miracles! After the lesson we went back to say hi to the Members mom, who's a convert and has the sweetest testimony! When she found out Rohit was just learning about the church she looked right at him and said, "Do it, this is where the lord wants you so just do it!" She then told us her conversion story and it was the coolest experience!  This week we also had transfers!! Sister Brady left which was no surprise, she had been in this area for 4 transfers! I made it to Minnesota!! NOV 20TH , 2023

  Hey everybody! This week has been so amazing, and crazy, and just all of the above!  My last week at the MTC was CRAZY! Sister Spannaus came for our Tuesday night devotional and I learned so much from her! She talked a lot about how are job as missionaries is to help people focus the light in their lives. I thought this a cool way to see it! Because everyone has been given the light of Christ, So we help people to focus and recognize it. We had the departure devotional on Wednesday and guess what guys?? I GOT TO PLAY THE MUSICAL NUMBER!! I was so excited and grateful for the chance to share my testimony through music. The piano has been such a big part of my life for so long, and has helped me grow my testimony so the chance to share that with others at the MTC was beyond amazing!  I flew out to Minnesota on Friday morning, (little bit of advice... avoid waking up at 3:30, just trust me on this one!)
